Courthouses remain some of the most vulnerable public buildings in the country. And in today’sdangerous society, our court personnel and visitors must be protected from interruption, coercion, andeven overt force. We currently provide security to more than 150 federal, state and local courthousesacross the nation. From federal buildings to county courthouses and justice departments, our Court Security Officer program has a reputation for successfully deterring, mitigating and responding to crisis.

Walden certified trainers deliver site-specific, initial, and ongoing refresher training to our court securityofficers covering topics such as: Access Control, Vehicle Searches, Weapons Training, various non-lethalweapons, use-of- force measures, and handling of sensitive items and equipment. In addition, screeningequipment training to include x-ray machines, magnetometers, and hand-held screening devices isprovided designed to prepare for, enhance, and reinforce training provided by the government at theFederal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).

In today’s environment, terrorism and criminal activity are key factors impacting our safety and security.They especially have an impact on our governmental system where any degree of disruption achieves ahighly visible, sensational, and immediate impact. Our Health and Human Services HHS system,especially the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with bio-level 4 labs, is not immune tothese threats, whether they come from criminals or terrorists. Our HHS security experience includes theCDC headquarters and associated research centers and lab facilities in Atlanta, GA and also the CDCfacilities in Fort Collins, CO.

Walden certified trainers deliver site-specific, initial, and ongoing refresher training to our security officerscovering topics such as: Access control through ingress and egress points, physical security ofGovernment facilities, vehicle searches, weapons training and qualification (handguns), various non-lethalweapons training and certification, use-of- force measures, and handling of sensitive items andequipment. In addition, screening equipment training to include x-ray machines, magnetometers, andother hand-held screening devices is provided using both instructor-led modules and eLearning web-based modules.

Our security experience includes numerous Active Duty/RegularArmy posts and Joint Military Bases to include the world’s largest military installation (Fort Hood, TX), amissile and space project center, arsenals, and numerous National Guard sites in several States. Wehave a proven record for assisting in crisis, complying with military requirements and upholding thehighest possible standard while protecting sensitive and secure facilities, as well as our service membersand their families.

Our security officers play a pivotal role inassisting State employees deliver service to welcome center visitors, while ensuring the personal safetyof both visitors and employees alike.
